Why Missions

This video is such a great video presenting God's heart on missions and the body of believers. Missions is a central goal and responsibility of the Church. God is looking for his people to rise up and fulfill the great commission of making disciples of all nations. It simply isn't enough to merely believe in God and live a 'good' life. God has called each of us to the mission of discipleship and taking the Gospel to the world. We believe that all believers should be active participants in missions, whether you are going, sending, or proclaiming the Gospel in your home town. We hope to encourage you and spur you to the good work of the Gospel. For we are not our own, but have been bought at a price to live as Christ, no longer satisfying the works of the flesh but walking in step with the Spirit of Christ and being obedient to scripture, not as hearers only, but doers, lest we deceive ourselves. 2 Corinthians 13:5 tells to examine ourselves to see that we are in the faith. We know that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone, however the saving work of the grace of Christ should be evident by the lives we live and the needs we fill. We pray for God's blessing on your life to empower you to serve him mightily and passionately. We pray that God would give you wisdom and deep fervent love for his word and his work. We ask God to show you opportunities to become involved in the work of the church, whether going, sending via financial support, or actively involving yourself in the local mission of your church. Seek first his kingdom. God be with you!
